Reception staff friendly and willing to help answer questions.
    Negative:
Too many steps. Had to request help to take bags to room. Furniture chipped and rather basic quality.

The room was large by Danish standards, clean and very well appointed. The building and grounds are very nice. Located close to central Copenhagen.
    Negative:
The staff and facility are sometimes overwhelmed by hoards from the cruise ships. These situations are temporary but inconvenient. The location is great for the downtown area but somewhat distant from the main train station. Access from the Metro is only a few blocks away though. Hotel staff are asked to do too much – manage the front desk and the bar etc. They are sometimes distracted by the work load.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Free wifi of very good quality. Spa was very good indeed.
    Negative:
No aircon – very stuffy rooms. Primitive drainage (waste bathwater flowed back into bathroom via floor drain). Poor soundproofing. Rooms aren’t really 4 star.
