The hotel was fine. Quality of room was worth the money I gave. It was small, but clean. Breakfast buffet was good. Breakfast was not included into the price, but I decided to pay for it. Location is excellent for those who want to go around the city – it is in the center of the city. Metro and train station are in the walking distance – about 1 minute of walking.
    Negative:
Although I reserved and payed for the triple room, it was actually twin bedroom, with extra bed. That extra bed was bad, really bad. We were there in December, and the room was not heated up enough. After I informed the receptionist about this, they gave us electric heater.

The location was very good with access to public transport very easy.

We booked a Superior Double Room for a three night stay and were origininally provided a small double room (309), this was changed to a much larger room (102) with the amenities described for the superior after mentioning the disparity to the reception staff. We were informed the original room was a superior double but this did not resemble the alternative in space or facilities. Both rooms were however very ‘tired’ in appearance and desperately need updating. On our first day we returned to the room late afternoon to find it had not been cleaned or the beds made, this was completed at about 4:30pm

We consider the hotel to be badly in need of a refurbishment. We informed the hotel reception upon arrival in our room that 3 of 5 lights in bathroom and room were disfunctional (This was rectified immediately) and that we considered the standard of the room not to be of 4 star standard. Furthermore we stated that this hotel should be only at least a 1 star at best 2 star quality. The hotel being excellently located, has prime location requirements within walking distance, the hotel management should have refurbed totally at least 25 years ago.

The location was great and close to the bus routes we needed.
    Negative:
Noisey bar down stairs which has live music playing to 1 am Wednesday – Saturday. We were on the 4th floor almost above the bar entrance. The music was loud and the patrons of the bar were rowdy. Later after closing a group of young people decided to race bicycles up and down the street until 4 am. We couldn’t be moved because the hotel was fully booked. Also room rather small even though they put us in an “up-grade”. The bathroom was missing light bulbs and only had one small halegen light. This bulding is old so be prepared for that old building feel and smell. Room ventilation not great. Having said all this we would stay again but in different room due to location and price point.

The hotel is centrally located near the central train station and Tivoli and has bikes on rental. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was decent.
    Negative:
The hotel is not really grand, nor it ever was. It is a basic mid-price- range hotel with somewhat dated facilities. My room had a heating pipe through it, so despite the fact that I turned off the heat it was too hot at night (and that in early May!). There was some traffic noise from the open window during night, but actually not that bad.

Seeing a small room with poor decoration without minibar and teacoffee facilities I was wondering – how such an hotel could get 4 stars! It’s very strange.
