The Hotel Manager was very rude and unavailable to help us resolve an issue: due to an air strike in Portugal, we were forced to leave one day earlier, and when we attempted to contact the Hotel Manager, he was first unavailbale, secondly very rude, and then decided to totally ignore us and failed to even pretend he was interested in our request. This kind of ‘unhospitality’ is unaccpetable.

Although a bit old fashioned and tarnished I liked the atmosphere, quite cosy, excellent location. Had (surpisingly) a spacious room
