Positive:
The view from the tower and the room was comfortable but you could gets these things elsewhere at other hotels.
Negative:
A lot of things really… The hotel is expensive to stay at, so in having paid so much you would expect access to gym and indoor pool spa room to be free and if you wanted any spa treatments you would pay extra… But no there is an extra charge to access the gym and pool spa area… Another really annoying thing which I don’t just find here, is the charging of water in restaurants when all you want is a glass of table water which should be free but you get given a 700ml bottle that you have to consume to get your moneys worth even though you only wanted 1 glass… Grrrrrrr!!!!!! It’s not like they can’t afford to give you table water for free or any other services for free after spending so much money at there hotel you expect to be looked after. Lastly the staff all act posh and prober which is really annoying and the hotel is in the middle of nowhere not even close to Copenhagen Central, you need to get the metro or bus or train and metro to it depending on where you come from. Book elsewhere, we wish we did!
Positive:
Outstanding design
Negative:
Breakfast choice was quite limited.
Positive:
Modern and clean. Good room service
Negative:
Long wait for elevators to lobby (20 mins one morning) Long line at checkout. Poor selection of food in buffet restaurant and nothing identified
Positive:
The view from our room and the bar on the 23rd floor. The classical piano in the lounge…we are music educators. It is a unique design experience. Not to be confused with “old Copenhagen.” Good for large conventions. We booked the hotel because it was the only one available to visit cousins. The hotels in the city were sold out.
Negative:
Concerns: 1. The shopping mall next to the hotel was not open at convienent times when scheduling to visit family. If it would have been open Sunday we would have bought lots of gifts to take home to the US. We even brought an extra, fold up-empty duffle-bag-suitcase for this purpose. 2. There is no fan in the bathroom, and the room gets very foggy when taking a shower. So we left the bathroom door open. This fogged up the windows in the room as well as the bathroom mirror. 3. The electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. 4. The shower water splashes outside of the shower area, keeping the floor wet and slippery. 5. We would recommend Bella Sky for large contained-conventions only. As the city builds out to meet the Bella, in about 25 years, it will attract more family travelers. This is a business hotel.
