Very friendly staff, perfect location (10 minutes walk to center), rich breakfast, nice and clean. We got room on yard side, birds were singing on night time
Negative:
Walls are very thin, but we were lucky – no loud neighbours during all three nights. Probably if all rooms are occupied, 3 wcs and 2 showers are not enough for all guests but this also was not our case, never waited in cue.

Location is convenient to city center and of course train station. Most of the staff is professional and friendly to non danish speaking people.

Street side rooms are very noisy. I actually upgraded to a single private bath room. Electrical outlets in rooms is inadequate for travelers. This hotel is nice and has a lot going for it, but could certainly stand new paint and attention to detail for traveler comforts. It seems expensive for what you get and what else is available in the city…………….

Absalon hotel itself is OK. But Absalon Annex, as I understood, is like connection with other exhotel which is quite poor.

The Breakfast: was amazing, the compensation of the cold and noisy night spend in the room! all kind of fresh food, juice, fruit, bred, the right start for a full day in town. really much appreciate! Either if was a share toilet and not privet in room, the shower was powerful and clean, really a good one!

Compare to the price that we paid, we were expecting a better room. The room was really poor, an hostel room for the price of 2 star hotel. We spend 2 night but we couldn’t sleep really well, waking up every half an hour for the noise of the other guest, doors slam, loud step along the corridor. We were also a bit frizzing in the room, the heater wasn’t enough, we had to sleep with wool pull and put our overcoat in top of the small an tiny duvet (was snowing outside, a really cold week-end, maybe unexpected from the hotel staff, but they should take on the heater and offer duvet to the guest)

Located at the center of the city, makes it so easy to reach any train/bus station, any other attractions and the long shopping street. Great service and very comfortable. When we arrived they immediately asked if we wanted to be upgraded. It was a good choice and absolutely not expensive.

Toilets and showers outside of room, but clean. Only two showers. Room just big enough for three, but OK for a short stay.
