Housed in two converted warehouses from the 1800s, this hotel is located in the vibrant Nyhavn District. It characteristics an elegant French-inspired restaurant and rooms with cost-free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs.
The rooms of 71 Nyhavn Hotel include a writing desk and a minibar. A lot of rooms have exposed beams and lovely views of the waterfront.
Following a gourmet dinner or an evening cocktail at Hotel Nyhavn’s restaurant, Pakhuskælderen, guests can go to the nearby Royal Danish Playhouse or Copenhagen Opera.
The popular Copenhagen Canal Boat Tours depart just outdoors the door, although the 18th-century Amalienborg Palace is reached within 10 minutes by foot. Strøget, Copenhagen’s major shopping street, is much less than half a mile away.

Negative:
Booking through booking.com seems to result in second choice rooms.
Positive:
It is a comfortable hotel, but with basic facilities. Location is good
Negative:
The hotel is ridiculously priced for being a basic hotel. Would not consider it a 4 star. Very disappointing.
Positive:
Wonderful location and excellently presented staff.
Negative:
The bathroom was significantly smaller than I had anticipated and the only window into the room too small to properly light the space but I realise this is an inherited feature from its former function as a warehouse.
Negative:
Very small room, no view, weak door
Positive:
Excellent location and vey helpful staff.
Negative:
We had a superior room, and the room was extremely small, dirty and was in desperate need for a ‘ complete make-over’.
Positive:
The nearness to “everything”
Positive:
Great service, ideal location for restaurants and city centre
Negative:
No complaints – great location, well priced.
Positive:
Proximity to the city centre
Negative:
Bathroom was very old and not very clean. Walls were very thin; could hear snoring from the neighbors and ‘other’ sounds.
Positive:
Love the beams in the room and the good curtains but mainly the view.
Negative:
Strange bathroom/shower arrangement (room 220) and for the cost would expect better. I love the location and know Copenhagen so it’s not a big deal.
Positive:
Location of the hotel was excellent, right on the habour, near to restaurants, Canal tours, tourist attractions, shops etc. Food in the hotel bar was lovely and the staff were all very pleasent and spoke excellent English.
Positive:
Wonderful location right on the harbour. Beautifully furnished character filled rooms, good breakfast.
Negative:
Can be noisy if restaurant below has late night patrons
Positive:
Fantastic position on the harbour
Negative:
Rooms small and showers are interesting to use!
